Artist Bio:

Born on March 13th 1983 in Darlowo, a coastal town on the Baltic Sea in northern Poland, my passion for art was instilled in me by my family and European culture, for which I am truly grateful. My passion for Art started as a little girl when I would watch my aunt Janina capturing the beauty of Polish nature and life on canvas.

When I turned 18, my destiny changed in a big way. I became a foreign exchange student in the United States, with my main goal being to learn the English language. After that, my American adventure did not stop with just my high school diploma. I then decided to pursue a higher education and attended Drury University in Springfield, Missouri in order to study Architecture. Ultimately my passion for fine art & painting became stronger and I decided I could not live without creating. I am a passionate woman with a love for life, food, family, friends, laughter, and above all art.

Artist Statement:

To me, art is a dialogue with the unknown. Art exposes me to my fears and addresses concerns such as meaning of life and death, love and cruelty, sacrifice and redemption- in the constant hope to define that which cannot be known. My art thrives on metaphysical ideas, which I believe are as old as human consciousness and contrast with futuristic visions. A great work of art is not just a taught skill or talent, but also reflects the intellect and compelling imagination of its creator. It recognizes the beautiful imagination and confronts us with a vision of ultimate reality. This vision can liberate us from everyday situations, thoughts, and feelings by lifting us onto a higher plane of being. While doing so, art has the capacity to bemuse, delight and elevate us. My art is the antidote for a chaotic life.
